About

Juls Payne was born in Alameda, California in 1970.  She studied fine art and music at the College of Alameda, California.  In 2007, she transferred to the University of Colorado, Denver to continue her art and music education.  Juls has exhibited in many galleries, boutiques, coffee shops and breweries for the past 18+ years.  She has received many awards for her work, including 2nd place in the National Arts Program.  She currently exhibits work at Berkeley Alley Beer Co. in Denver.  When Juls is not painting, she enjoys goofing around with her family, digging in the dirt, teaching piano and playing harp for hospice residents. Juls resides in the Black Forest with her husband, children and a goldendoodle named Miss California Pumpkin and a buff little kitten that thinks he's a mountain lion.
